Texas Rangers Ship Smith to Washington

It's being reported in the Texas press that the Rangers have traded 32-year-old LHP Zane Smith to the Washington Senators for 31-year-old 2B Steve Buechele. However, there is no confirmation by the two ball clubs.
Over his career the 32-year-old Smith has won 122 and lost 83, collecting 1041 strikeouts and 470 walks in 1880.2 innings with a 3.46 ERA. Opponents have hit .244 against him.
Buechele has a career .214 average with 603 hits, including 87 doubles, 19 triples and 124 homers, collected 376 RBIs, scored 352 runs and compiled a .288 OBP.
