The Atlanta Braves defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 7-5. Earning player of the game honors was second baseman Mickey Morandini, who went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Melido Perez was the winning pitcher.
